The information we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect the details you give us. Depending on the form, this is your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you need, details about the job, when you need it done, and your message. If you book a machine, it also includes the machine, the delivery postcode and site address, the start date, how long you need it, and any site notes. Your name and phone number are required so we can reply; everything else is optional unless the form marks it as required.
With each enquiry our website also records the page and form it was sent from, the date and time, whether you were shown or ticked our privacy notice, and, if you arrived from an advert or a tracked link, the campaign codes in that link (for example utm_source, gclid or fbclid). We store a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, which we use only to limit repeated submissions and prevent spam.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.
How we use your information, and our lawful basis
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and give you a quote, to arrange and carry out any work you ask us to do, to keep a record of enquiries so we can follow them up and run our business, and to protect the website against spam and misuse.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business and, where you ask us for a quote or to carry out work, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where we rely on consent, for example for analytics or marketing cookies, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. To run the website and follow up enquiries we use a small number of trusted providers who process information on our behalf:
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel), which hosts our website and our customer management system, where your enquiry is stored so we can contact you about it.
- Our email provider, so enquiries and replies can be sent and received.
These providers only process your information to provide their service to us and are required to keep it secure. Some may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards are in place. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stored in our website are deleted automatically after 24 months. Records of work we carry out are kept for as long as we need them for our business and legal obligations, such as accounting and waste records, and no longer than necessary.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Non-essential cookies are only set if you agree to them through our cookie banner. Full details are in our Cookie Policy, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete, to ask us to delete it or to restrict or object to how we use it, to ask us to transfer it where that right applies, and to withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
